Day 3 took us to Sacramento where we met up with some friends that we knew from past tandem rallies. We stated at Folsom Lake Beals Point RV Park. It is a state campground and is clealy the worst campground we have ever stayed in. We met up with our friends who helped us with the logistics of getting our truck into an AAA shop to get the A/C fixed. After dropping the truck off we went to dinner sith Tom & Diane at another tandem rally couple, Rob & Vicky. After dinner Tom & Diane were driving us back to our campsite (the truck was in the shop overnight) when I realized that the keys to the trailer were in the truck which was locked in the shop. This situation required an an after hours locksmith. $$$$$.

Day 4 Tom & Diane took us for a bike ride around the area. Sacramento has an amazing number of great bike trails, we rode about 40 miles and stopped at Karen’s for lunch, a great little bakery/cafe. Liz bought a pretty cool jersey there. After our ride Tomtook me to pick up the truck.$$$$$$$$. We met them later for dinner. The time in Sacremento was mixed. the stress with the truck and locksmith was taxing, but it was good to see our friends.
