A Little Bit About What Brought Us Here
We started our trailering about ten years ago (2010) with a pop-up tent trailer that we purchased used. Our tow vehicle was a 1999 Toyota Tacoma. We had a lot of good trips with that, but eventually reached to decision that we would prefer a more conventional travel trailer.
With the Tacoma as a tow vehicle, we went shopping and were advised that we could pull a 16′ Coleman trailer, which we purchased. Big Mistake! The maiden voyage with that combo was to California, that did not go well.
Immediately following the California trip, we sold the Tacoma and purchased a Ram1500 with a Hemi. Of course then we had more tow capacity which led to upgrading the trailer again. That cat and mouse game continued until we acquired our current setup, a Ram 3500 diesel and a Jayco Eagle 330RSTS.
As we enter retirement and prepare to embark on extended trips we decided to keep a journal or our trips and experiences. That is what the Robb and Liz Travel Log is all about. If you have found your way to our website, WELCOME! We hope you enjoy reading about our adventures and what we experience and learn along the way.
